As you can see each quadrant has its own Letter with a meaning.
Most people have a dominant style which influences their personality.
You may find that you feel you have a little of each trait, thats perfectly normal, most if not all of us can identify with each of the quadrants, you will notice though that at least one of them is more dominant the the others.
For example if your an Accountant your dominant side would be C .
Where if your an entertainer your dominant side
would be I .
Take some time to study the above graph and have a think about the people in your life, friends, family, co-workers etc and understand their dominant trait.
Most of the time you will find someone who's dominant trait is on the upper half then they will also have their second most dominant trait on the top half , they would usually have jobs in sales or management or entertainment, they love to be in charge and or have people looking to them for inspiration.
They have influence and are great people to be around, there will never be a dull moment.
The same go's for the bottom half in regards to someone who has C as their dominant trait their second most dominant trait will be S
These people to a shoulder to lean on, they are on time and are critical thinkers.
They tend to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, they think thing through and rarely rush into things.

Once we begin to understand how the people we interact with tick we start to find ways to communicate with them better for example, if you discern that someone falls dominantly into the D quadrant give them some autonomy if possible so that they feel in control, you would give them direct clear information with little or no fillers, not wishy washy and tell them directly how it is.
If they fall in to the I quadrant, then they like things that are fun and exciting so find a way to make what your saying appealing.
Then for a C go into detail and give them as information a they need to get the job done, and if they are an S do the same, be precise and give clear instructions.
There is plenty to learn so practice in every interaction, as you practice you will find that you will raise your particular traits depending on the situation.
